News - Technology necessary in education system

A workshop on the ?role of technology in 21st century education? was organised by Global Knowledge Network Society to understand the significance of technological advances in the education system. It is vital to embrace technology to bring transformational changes in schools and colleges. ?Conventional method of teaching is not enough for students to fight global competition in this era. Only technological advances such as e-learning, internet, digital classrooms etc. can prepare them for the competition ahead,?said noted educationist and former chairman of CBSE, Ashok Ganguly.
